PFC Furman Walls

PFC Walls served as an Intelligence Scout for the US Army in Hawaii after Pearl Harbor.  He was  awarded the American Theater Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.  After serving in the Army PFC Walls returned to Charlotte and has volunteered in the Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, helped start the Nutrition Lunch Program for Senior Citizens and served as Commander for the American Legion and VFW of Charlotte.
